Free Wi-Fi access throughout New York City

Can you all imagine how fast the world is evolving right now? If we compare the situation of society a decade ago, we can say that it is a great leap for everyone. Many thanks to the brilliant people with amazing ideas and tech updates.

What is still evolving right now is the digital world that has served almost half of the population’s research and communication needs. Computers, mobile phones, machines, and other electronic devices have been upgraded to their new level that brings convenience to people, not to mention wireless internet connections.

Most people cannot live without it because it becomes their source of communication with loved ones who live far away from them. Researchers see the convenience of searching the Internet for data while also sharing their own. Keeping people updated on news and trends is one of the purposes for which technology and the Internet exist.

Now, with this kind of situation, the IT companies have thought to make it more accessible to everyone, especially the people of New York. Wi-Fi wiring in New York made everything possible and easier for the community, especially for tourists and OFW who want to communicate with their family back home. It is the city’s idea to dethrone the reigning fields of Seoul, Tokyo and Geneva for the title of ‘the most connected city in the world’ when it comes to accessible, high-speed internet.

In connection with that, the city has signed a $200 million deal to replace old payphone points with futuristic, high-tech kiosks at no cost to New York’s taxpayers and residents. FREE WIFI, how cool is that?

These kiosks installed by the LinkNYC program broadcast a connection 100 times faster than municipal WIFI wires. It can be used for video conferences, free national calls and simple internet searches, which can be accessed by anyone who wants to use it. The kiosk covers a radius of 150 feet at speeds of up to one gigabit per second. It’s amazing how technology made all of this work.

Not only that, but LinkNYC has partnered with transit wireless to bring free Internet connection to riders throughout the high-traffic subway.

With all these technological changes, we recognize those who have come up with structured fiber optic cabling that keeps such a system running at its proper pace. Nowadays, different companies offer structured cabling installation for data and voice systems that allow a faster Internet connection and avoid distractions due to system problems.

The team that will install the Wi-Fi connection that may come from different companies may have different approaches when doing the work. Therefore, it is always better to find the right group of people to do the job, the ones who are properly trained and who know what they are doing.

Plus, who wouldn’t want unlimited Wi-Fi access throughout the city? I’m pretty sure NYC is excited about this.

Everyone is looking forward to the WIFI wiring upgrade, not only in the city, but also in all other countries of course.
