2010 Opel Zaire – A Great Choice

The 2010 Opel Zaire has enough to attract buyers for multiple reasons. The 77 KW/105 hp 1.6 liter engine consumes about 7.0 liters of fuel per 100 km of distance travelled. The four-cylinder unit with four valves is also optionally available. The specifications of the 1.7 CDTI engine are 81 KW/110 hp and 92 KW/125 hp respectively, and the 1.7 CDTI engine was used in the 2008 models. Both come with a six-speed manual transmission, common rail injection with four-valve technology, turbulence controls and maintenance, and free special diesel filter.

The 1.7 CDTI engine is replaced by the 74 KW/100 hp 1.9 CDTI, as well as the 88 KW/120 hp 1.9 liter diesel engines in the 2010 Zaire. The 1.7 CDTI units deliver more power with increased torque of 20 Nm and 40 Nm respectively, while fuel consumption and CO2 emissions are reduced.

Both diesel engines produce just 152g of CO2 and consume 5.7 liters of fuel per 100km of distance. The new Zaire has some technical highlights, including the CDC (Continuous Damping Control) optional screens chassis system. It provides an exclusive dimension of driving comfort as well as increased safety. The control units as well as the Espouse, ABS and CDC sensors can constantly exchange data, resulting in instant chassis optimization and fine-tuning of its integrated control system. The AFL bi-xenon headlamp system and adaptive front lighting with dynamic cornering light fit perfectly into the compact van segment.
