You can’t steal second base with your foot firmly planted on first. Once you make affirmative decisions, the forces of the universe seem to move to make things happen.
Living at Steamboat Springs Ski Resort for 29 years and loving skiing, people, and the healthy lifestyle provided a wonderful and comfortable life. “Hi, I saw your corvette in the gym today. Are you still training every day?” Baby (the corvette) gets waves and smiles wherever she goes. Oh, the locals are also quite nice to their owner. Steamboat represents such a warm and friendly atmosphere that it becomes impossible for Baby or its owner to go incognito anywhere any day or at any time of day.
The idea of ”moving to Castle Rock” was repeated night after night. “I don’t know anyone in Castle Rock. I feel comfortable here. I can’t afford to buy another house. This is a bad time to apply for a new loan,” she protested. Finally, completely frustrated with stopping the nagging dream, she placed an ad to rent her house up in the mountain. Immediate and excellent response from eleven qualified rental candidates. Well-meaning friends of real estate agents warned: “Don’t ask for more than 2,000 per month because anyone with more than 2,000 per month will not buy rent.” She selected a lovely young professional couple with a young child. He interviewed them at his home and at his home. Great housewives. Very nice and excellent references. They agreed to 3,000 per month and signed the rental agreement.
Once a firm decision was made, everything started to fall into place. He called a Castle Rock real estate agent and explained exactly the size, location, and price of the home he wanted. “Oh, and it has to be closed and ready to move in within 30 days.” The real estate agent laughed, “That’s four impossible things. What do you want me to do?” He complained. “Start looking,” she replied. In thirty days they transferred her to that same house.
Once a firm decision is made, the universe seems to spring into action to make all the pieces fit into place in the puzzle. The key is always to make a firm decision. You cannot move forward with your feet set in concrete in the past. Thinking and forward movement require your feet to remain light and ready to jump forward.

The key to moving forward is always a firm decision. When you know exactly what you want and are acting with complete integrity, you will receive blessings beyond your wildest dreams.
