Is liposuction for me?

Do you feel like you’ve tried absolutely everything to get rid of cellulite and nothing works? Do you feel that liposuction is your only option? Well think again! Liposuction might not be the answer you are looking for.

A friend of mine had liposuction, and when I asked her a year later if she would have done it again, she said “NO WAY!” The biggest problem for her was that she wore a girdle for six weeks, she was off work for six weeks and she was in a lot of pain. She said that if she had known she was going to be like this, she would have simply taken the six weeks off work and spent her time exercising and eating well. She felt that this would have been much more beneficial to her health.

One of the other big problems with liposuction is that it completely removes fat cells. So if you haven’t changed your lifestyle and are still gaining body fat, you’ll start gaining it in really weird places where you haven’t gained it before. Places where fat cells still exist. Then your skill will look even more lumpy than before.

The best thing you can do is dedicate yourself to changing your lifestyle that got you where you are today. Start eating whole foods. Eat whole meats (ie non-processed meats), whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables. Years ago, a doctor told me to shop around the perimeter of the grocery store, instead of in the middle of the grocery store. If you think about it, everything good is outside, like fresh meats, fresh vegetables and fruits, dairy, etc, etc.

There is also a lot of information about the infrared sauna. I find they are easier to sit on. They warm you instead of the air, so you sit in them and just sweat. It is excellent for detoxifying the body. Detox helps get rid of body fat.

The other great way to get rid of cellulite is to use a large massager on your body fat. You can go to a professional and get a lymphatic drainage massage. Or, if you’re doing it yourself, use long strokes like a squeegee and work from your knees to your hips. Or from your stomach to your hips. You want to massage towards the lymph nodes that are located on your hips. Never rub towards the knees.

There are also some creams that work, but they won’t work without exercising and eating right. Liposuction is not the answer.
