It’s hard to keep up with daily chores around the house, and we often tend to overlook cleaning tasks that aren’t right under our noses. After all, you can store all your keepsakes and heirlooms in there with no risk of damage. Of course, this is an ongoing monthly cost. Perhaps it would be better for you to consider buying a garage water mat as a much less expensive and better option?
By placing a waterproof mat in the garage to protect this room and all your belongings year-round, you avoid the cost of replacing all your stored materials. They may be out of sight and out of mind, but if you store them there in the first place, they have to have value to you. You probably won’t see the damage that rainwater buildup is doing to them, but it will be very real nonetheless.
