Will we fight the angels in Diablo 3?

It’s been over 10 years since there was a new Diablo game and with the upcoming Diablo 3 release, internet gamers are speculating about the possibilities and new twists that could enrich the game in the latest Diablo game.

One of the most common speculations is whether or not we will fight angels in Diablo 3. If you’ve played Diablo 2 before, you know there were three kingdoms in it. Devil universe: Heaven, Hell and Sanctuary (Devil’s “Earth”). The main plot of Diablo 2 was to defeat the demons of hell that had invaded Sanctuary.

However, at the end of Diablo 2, you learn that Sanctuary was not created by the Heavens and that the humans that populate the Sanctuary are not the exclusive creation of angels or demons, but rather the combined efforts of the two. Furthermore, most demons and angels alike had no idea that the Sanctuary existed and both sides were bent on destroying the Sanctuary.

To combat these threats, the World Stone was created to hide the existence of Sanctuary from both Heaven and Hell. The reason he had to hide from heaven was that many of the angels considered the Sanctuary an abomination and wanted to destroy it.

In Diablo 2, the World Stone became corrupted and the game ended with Archangel Tyrael destroying the World Stone. When this happened, the world of Sanctuary was exposed to Heaven for the first time, revealing to the vengeful Archangels the existence of Sanctuary.

As a result, it is very likely that we will have to fight at least a few angels in Diablo 3. Rumor has it that Diablo’s fourth and most difficult act actually takes place in heaven. Usually Act 4 in previous Diablo games has always taken place in Hell, so it will be interesting to go to the Heaven of the Diablo universe for the first time.

If you are thinking that this is just speculation, there is one thing that certainly confirms the fact that we will fight the angels. If you open your character sheet in the game, you will notice that there is a new item that you can obtain resistance equipment for: Santo. You can now get gear that reduces the amount of damage you take from holy attacks.

This is a new stat for Diablo 3, as you’ve never previously fought enemies that could use holy attacks. Demons don’t use holy energy for their attacks, so this means only one thing: that we will be fighting angels in Diablo 3.
